Get Alexandria.

Alexandria is currently available only on Android, by invitation. Here’s how to get in.

  1. Ask for an invite.

Click below to email me with:

    • Your name
    • The email of the Google account on your phone, the one you use for Google Play
    • Where you are in the world
    • How you found Alexandria
    • What other book app you currently use, and why you want to try Alexandria
  2. Join the testing program.

Once I’ve added you, open this link while signed in to that Google account, and accept the invitation.

  3. Install the app.

Get Alexandria from Google Play. From then on, updates come through Google Play, like any other app on your phone.

If the links don’t open, you don’t have access yet. Start with the email.

On an iPhone?

Alexandria is Android only. If you’d like it on an iPhone, let me know. If there are enough of you out there, I’ll consider an iOS version.

Getting started

Once you’re in.

  1. Go to Search and start adding books.
  2. Use Match your copy to adjust the cover, page count, format, and any other details you want.
  3. Adjust the dates you started and finished each book.
  4. Mark each one as reading, finished, and so on.
  5. Log your progress as you read, ideally after each reading session (it only takes a few seconds).
  6. Rate books when you finish.
  7. Set goals, if that’s your thing.

The app does the rest.
